I'm just thinking about Kaysar. Hes so cute. Women are going mad over him. So I wander if being a muslim does he have different rules to the dating stuff. Like can he just walk up to a girl he thinks is cute and ask her out or does he have to to to the parents first and ask permission? I was just wandering I think of weird questions sometimes. Like if salt melts ice, why or how do iceburgs form.? I'm weird. Always thinking.

LOL...When he shows up he can answer questions, maybe. I think he has been busy with a full house this week-end.
Running to look up why icebergs don't melt.................

He does not really come and post much. It might be because there has been too much bickering lately. "sigh"

If you want to know about his faith, there is a seperate section where he made on his religion since he knows many people have questions. There is someone there moderating it for him. He has not been here in ages and I am not sure when he will return.

Yes, I completely agree with you. He needs to come back but I think he is not going to for a while since there has been so much bickering and fighting here and also over petty things.
BTW, there is nothing wrong with your iceberg question. In fact it has me thinking the same thing and then I think of the Titanic and I once knew someone who was related to someone on that liner. That person survived the ordeal though.

You are completely right. The bickering needs to stop. It is'nt going to solve anything by fighting. But Kaysar is a smart guy and I think he will see throw the imature comments and see all the positive ones. There is more good on this site than bad. So i think he will come back. Just probably when were all sleeping or of the computer. That would be my luck anyway. I have always been facinated with the Titanic. I just cant imagine being on that boat knowing it was sinking. Or being in the cold water knowing that most likely Id freeze to death. It's a terrible thought. I dnt know anyone who had to go through it.wow.

Are icebergs salty?
No. Icebergs are comprised of pure fresh water. There may be some dust embedded in the ice and salt water may be on the surface but it does not penetrate the ice. Iceberg ice is quite safe to consume
Call me anal. Had to find out. hehe

Your awesome thanks.:) Now I know why they can form. For some reason because iceburgs are in the ocean I assumed they were made form the ocean which as we all know is filled with ice. I heard that iceburgs and all that are there becasue it is what is left of the ice age. Pretty cool huh?

The fighting has nothing to do with it. Personally, I think intellectuals are drawn to conflict/debate because it's mental exercise--allows you to hone your reasoning skills.
But it has to be done in the right manner. It can't be just name calling. People have to make a statement and present evidence that supports their statement.
Others can then refute the statement with their own statement and supporting evidence.
The problem is people are arguing without employing any logic or reason to their statements.
We can disagree but we need to in a constructive, not destructive manner.

Yes, the bickering has to stop but I doubt it will. When Kaysar does return and I don't know when, he is only on very late at night. I am in the Central time zone and he is on late on his own time zone so I am long gone by then.
The icebergs may disappear because of the global warming which it really is not good. That is why we are getting a lot of bad hurricanes and many animals are going to be extinct.
The Titanic was really a very bad tragedy. The movie made me cry. I have heard some rumors why it hit the iceberg but I won't say them in public since they are just rumors.

agree with you. I was thinking you were talking about the people being mad over Kaysar wanting to be payed for doing interviews. Thats all I'v been hearing about lately. As far as people not presenting there statement in the right manner. I agree.

As far as people not presenting there statement in the right manner. I agree. Myself when i am in a conversation with someone I always go into it with an open mind. Because I want to share my knowledge to people but also gain theirs in return. I think if you have respect for people your more likely to share and debate without conflict, but that doesnt always work. And I agree that if you are going to put a statement out there, there should be more to it . Like how they came to believe what ever it is they believe. A lot of people are quick to say I'm right and your wrong. No one likes to be wrong. So intellectuallys are deffianatley drawn to debate.

It's funny that you can tell how intelligent or educated someone is by how well they can discuss a controversial issue.
One of the most important things college taught me is each of us interprets things different based on our backgrounds, experiences, personal beliefs and a number of other factors. By listening to another person's perspective, it enlarges our veiwpoints to encompass things we might otherwise lack. And in turn, it changes how we view a particular subject or even how we view the world.
I think you said roughly the same thing, so really just agreeing with you. But you can often tell by how narrow-minded or open-minded someone is just how intelligent and analytical they are.
And like you said, by discussing rather than arguing, you might just learn something yourself. ;)

Everyone has raised some valid points here. In order for resolution to occur there needs to be a sincere desire by everyone to reach a solution, without needing to prove right or wrong. By dropping judgement, blame and defensiveness and open up to the possibility of being creative, of finding new ways to respond, instead of reacting.

What I don't like here and on Michael's site too, most of the arguements have been over the petty things. I mean those are the things that should have been left alone and someone even has a thread here that said if you don't like a post, you don't have to respond.
However some things said have had a need to be addressed like the Katrina Victims. Then what bothered me even more was the fact that someone said in reference to it that there is too much drama here. Now that really (censored) me off. I will be one of the first to admit that where Katrina victims are concerned, I am very sensistive and high strung. I didn't respond to this person though because I knew it would really create a very very bad arguement and I would just get more aggravated.
Some things I respond to and others I don't. I am not too well liked here nor on Michael's site because I say it just the way it is. But then I am not here to win a popularity contest.
I never responded to any of those threads because its Kaysars choice to do whatever he needs to do for himself and thats his private buisness.
Its none of ours.
I really hope all these arguements havent run him off!!
We Love You Kaysar!!!!! Please come back!!!!!
