Ok...
Ever since we were introduced to Kaysar back in July, there has been so much written about how he is so kind, caring, respectful, generous, honest...and the list goes on...
There have also been countless number of people writing about how there should be more people out there like Kaysar... well we all know that he is one of a kind.. but.... why not us??
Spend one day...to start... going about your regular routine but spend it being as positive, caring, kind and generous as you can in your own way.
Smile when you answer the phone... the person on the other end can hear it... smiles are contagious... :) compliment a total stranger on the street... say hello to the person next to you in the elevator instead of looking straight ahead...
We have all seen the outpouring of love that Kaysar has received because of who he is... we may not have thousands of fans but imagine the love and positive feedback we can experience from the people in our own lives... I think we would all be happily surprised. Maybe we can start an epidemic of kindness...

I've already been trying to be a kinder gentler Deb. I tend to be a bit of a control freak...you're surprised I know Elizabeth. I work for a family business in a position of authority and I get annoyed when I must repeat myself continuously or when my orders aren't carried out specifically. I don't have the ability to terminated employment, and I don't curse or yell. But apparently I can give someone a quite a look. I've been told that it's not in my character to be mean, but that the look I think is scathing speaks disappointment in volumes.
So I've been working really hard at being more patient and not teasing someone just in case I hurt their feelings. I've been good for 29 days so far. Kaysar has had an impact on my life.

I have lived this way my enitire life it's one of the things my parents instilled in us and I have done the same thing with my kids. I think Kaysar is wonderful but I don't need him as a reason to be a nice person. :)

That's great Deb! I also have to make a conscious effort not to let my frustrations and irritability get the better of me... I'm doing my best to ALWAYS think positively instead of letting negative thoughts rule my decisions...
I noticed a couple people who have mentioned the movie "Pay It Forward" I haven't seen it but sounds like I should.

I think that's awesome jerrij... I don't need Kaysar as a reason to be a nice person either... I believe that I am but....I still have lapses when I know I can be a better...

Hey Y'all,I do see the merit in this idea. Everyone should try to go out everyday and make the world a little bit better.
The inherent flaw is obvious. One name :April. Do you guys remember how many times
she went on and on about her good heart and her generosity, and how much
everybody in the RW loved her? I think she really believed all of that crap.
So the idea is to quantify the positive contributions made to our society, cities, towns, neighbourhoods, streets and in our own homes.
Try and be specific in your positivity. Doesn't have to be big things but
it must require concerted effort or it's undiluted value diminishes.
I'm not the kind of person that should hold everything in ,I'm from a long line of stomach ulcer -types. My Granny is the one exception. She's a carrier, she doesn't get ulcers,SHE gives ulcers to the rest of us!:D
Keep up the positive energy.I lovE it!!!!

Oh, I'm so glad I saw this post. I don't really make an effort to do this on a daily basis. I'm polite, but that's more about the social contract than it is about warmth - and this was a lovely sentiment and inspiring post.
If I think about why I really liked Kaysar, it is exactly because he gave out the love without desire for return. I think he is self-interested, everyone is to some degree, but he just lives life at at a higher level than most people. It sounds like you do too - I'm bookmarking your post to read on days where I'm feeling too grumpy and self-involved to extend that energizing kindness.
Thanks so much, Tara. I have taken your message to heart. :) It ennobles our obsessive fandom! :D

I try and do this daily too!! I used to work in retail so its kinda hard for me to be at the walmart or target ..even still...without walking past someone and just saying HI ...sometimes I think "well that was a creepy thing for me to do" but its just who I am...so next time someone walks past you in walmart and says hi...it just might be me!
