Hi everyone,
I am running a Survivor Pool and inviting any fans to join.
The basic concept is, you pick a team of 4 Survivor contestants. This team of 4 players earns points for good things (ie getting tree mail, saying the word alliance, etc) and loses points for bad things (getting voted off!). Each week, you can trade or change members of your team in order to gain more points. The person at the end of the season with the highest number of points wins. Usually we set a $3.00 or $5.00 entry fee that is thrown into the jackpot and awarded to the winner.
I do not play, I merely tabulate the points, and post the results on a website so you can see how you're doing.
This year, instead of having fees and a jackpot, I thought the entry fee would be a minimum donation of $5 to the United Way through PayPal. First you must email me, and then I'll let you know more about the PayPal donations and how that works. (You make the payment to United Way, not me)
If this is something that sounds interesting, please email me ASAP and I'll send more details! You can also forward this email to any Survivor fanatics you may know, or post it on any board. My goal is to get at least 20 people to join, meaning we would raise $100.
