I used to be a huge football fan...but I've been very disappointed in the way the retiring players are being treated. Plus if Tampa Bay can win the Super Bowl.... Don't hate...I used to live in Orlando and let's just say they aren't the home team.

I've never played Quidditch before, but I'd love to!

That being said, I chose Soccer (the guys are hotter) and it's just fun to watch.

Quiddich is the game in the Harry Potter books. They play on brooms flying around swatting at things and chasing things. It's great for the imagination.

Quidditch sounds fun! It would be a great way to take out my frustration. lol

Okay, isn't Quidditch that game they played in the movie Harry Potter? If it is, well, since I can't fly I guess you wouldn't see me playing that game. Too bad, it looked like fun.

As you can probably tell from my Avatar (that's me up front winning the race) my favorite sport is Short Track Speedskating and I also like tennis. I am not a big fan of conventional American sports, like Baseball. This is why: In England (which is where I'm from) they call Baseball, Rounders; Football is known as Rugby and Basketball is called Netball. All of those games are played exclusively by girls, except Rugby.

No man would be seen dead playing Netball and Rounders. :D

Harry Potter is the seeker for Gryffindors and he has to catch the snitch which is worth 150 points so when he catches that, the team wins. Draco Malfoy is seeker for the Slytherines and he is always trying to catch the snitch.

Meantime other members of the Slytherines are always using their mallets to knock down the goalie and other members of the team.

I would be the seeker in Quidditch. I am sure I can catch the snitch even if I had to deal with those like Draco Malfoy in the air.

Since there are so many quidditch fans here, let's see if Kaysar or one of the mods will give us permission to organize quidditch games here and we can have try outs and then play on a separate section of this forum of even this section.

I have played it online before and it is really fun.

I meant from the list in the poll, that soccer players are hotter. Not compared to Quidditch.

Here is how it was done where I use to play:

I was the seeker so I had to catch the snitch.

The way that game was set up was that each person could enter at anytime when they were on the computer. Usually they shut the game site down at midnight West Coast Time so they could get their moves in.

The choreography was excellent just like we were playing in real life. We had our broom and we had to use our mouse to direct the broom. I had to watch for all the bludgers so I didn't get knocked down and if any of the beaters from the opposing team were on, then I had to watch for them and it was hard for me since some lived on the East Coast and one lived on the West Coast so they made it a point to trick me and try to get me by surprise. I am on the Central Time and they all knew it and knew when I came on the computer.

I had to always look for the snitch and believe me the seeker of the other team also made sure to have knowledge when I would come on just to make it harder for me. I would still win though.

Quidditch is hard to play but it is so thrilling and exhilarating.

I chose baseball, mainly because I grew up in a baseball family, and I played softball once upon a time. It's the only sport that I haven't severely hurt myself, either. I received plenty of contact (receiving a ball in the abdomen isn't fun when you're 8 and your 14 year old brother is hitting it to you), but basketball, lacrosse, soccer, and a few others have managed to make me an even bigger klutz than I already was.

i dont really like baseball it is so boring to watch (playing is a different story though), i'd probably compare it to reading a harry potter even though i never have read a harry potter book.

It was one of the Harry Potter sites I used. I will have to look and search for the link since I haven't played in a while. I have been here mostly LOL!!!

Funny enough, because I've played it, I don't find it that boring to watch, but I do hear that a lot. I find football interesting, sometimes, but because I don't know a heck of a lot about it, I get bored. Basketball just tires me out to watch. Soccer IS fun to watch, as is rugby and lacrosse.

I just love my baseball!

I love football. I'm a Colts fan, however, actually my heart is with my son's high school football team. He plays starting defensive tackle. His team has the #1 defense in their conference.
Last night they won 40 - 13 with their first TD within the first 50 SECONDS of the first quarter.

Hmmm I use to play softball for years and years and years growing up. I see you don't have that up there. Now I bowl and I am on a leauge. That is considered a sport. So I cant submit my vote LOL. I cant stand to sit in front of the TV and watch any of those :(
