ARG...did you know that you can't select all. I read everything. No real favorite. It depends on my mood. These days I'm reading James Patterson. But tomorrow it could be Stephen King or cookbooks. I love Cookbooks. Too many choices.

Hmmm, I'm not a big reader since I spend all day doing just that on the computer, so when I get home I want to get out and exercise, but if I do pick up a book, it's usually non-fiction.

I read a lot of the different genres. I don't read romance as much as I did when I was a teenager. Now that I'm more into writing books, I find that I generally like to read the kind of book I'm willing and wanting to write. So, that means fantasy, mainstream fiction, historical fiction, mystery/suspense, and a variety of others.

I think I did too. I also watch the Forensic File they have on TV. I think it is so wild how they can catch a killer with the very smallest clue, like a hair from a cat. Things like that really do amaze me time and time again.

Kabbalist,

Sorry I forgot to mention spiritual books. Me, out of all people. It can go under Non-Fiction though since that covers it as well.

Just hit the poll button and then after typing on the subject line, go to the bottom where it says make a list and just type in your choices for the poll but make sure that each choice is on a separate subject line and it would help to proof everything before you hit submit since the poll section cannot be corrected once submitted.

Have any of you read the J D Robb, also known as Nora Roberts, "in death" series? They take part in year 2059. Dallas is a homicide det. in NY. She is married to this HUNK, Roark. I'd have to look, but I think there is like 20 books in the series so far. She comes out with 2 a year. I like a series, it's like a running tv show. If you like John Grisham, James Patterson, or Dean Koontz you will like these. Girsham is one of my fav. I always run right out to buy his books.

Heh, books regarding spirituality are my #1 choice as well, so I chose "non-fiction". =)

I do read a lot of everything though (although I can say, I never read romance novels. Most recently, I have read "Lies My Teacher Told Me, The Whitewashing of American History", Syliva Browne's "Prophecy" and a novel, "Gods in Alabama". I actually managed a large independant bookstore in my early 20's (Either/Or Bookstore in Hermosa Beach, CA) for several years before it went out of business in 1999 (it was opened in 1967!). I now have over 2000 books, lol. Sadly, the arrival of the new super bookstores and amazon.com were the final stabs in a slowing business. :(
