Registration Problems

Hey Kiwi

There has been major problems with new registration.
Many are having an impossible time getting in.
They keep getting the Max per day message. However I see that so far only 27 have registered and thats not because of lack of interest.
This may be something you might want to address with the xmb forum administrators.
The BB6 boards are flooded with disappointed Kaysar fans.

Just giving you a heads up.

yeah i feel bad.. there are A lot of fans who have been trying to get in and they keep getting the " max registration error" . well hopefully theyll be able to get in soon.

Phew! I have also had a very difficult time registering. But, am VERY happy to be here. Those of you who are still trying to register.... be patient and keep trying. I was working online for a few hours tonight and every five minutes or so I'd try to register and I finally made it...Don't give up!!

Phew is right! :) I'm VERY happy to be here as well...I refreshed the registration page so much today, I thought for sure my mouse button was going to break! *lol* I'm looking forward to talking to all of you here....and yes for all of those people who still are having problems...DO NOT give up....you will eventually get through.

I have one question though...is this registration limit due to what the server can take? Is it on overload? I can just imagine the traffic coming through to this site and Michael's too. Also why this particular forum software over the several other popular ones out there? I've personally tried running XMB forums before and I got rid of it because I did not like how it functioned and the admin area was crap.

At any rate...glad to be here...finally! *lol* :)

Nice to meet you too. That's hilarious, but sooo true. I was trying to register on Michaels website for days and days and when I heard about this one...well lets just say... I tried to register on August 30th at night and the quota for August 31st had already been used up!!

My advice to people trying to register... keep your eye on the members list in the evening and watch the registration dates as soon as you see the first registration for the next day... click your little hearts out!!

**Grrrrrrr** I don't know what's going on with this board, but it just took me over an hour to "log in," not to register; I managed to do that two days ago, but now I've encountered a whole set of new problems. I eventually had to request my password be sent to me. When I got my "so-called" password, it wasn't even close to the one I originally created. It was a mix of jumbled letters and numbers that made no sense. Where did that come from? Was it reset? If so, why? And how do I re-recreate a new password for this username without having to register again? There is no way I can continue to use the password that was given to me. It sucks!!!!!

Sorry for the questions, but after working all day, I'm really not in the mood to play computer technician. Ugh!!! :(

I wonder what's going to happen the next time I try to log in.... ?

Yvonne I just went through the same thing. If you check the box for Secure Log-In it seems to log in with no problem (for me anyway). Hope that helps! :)

I did check that box, but it didn't help. At this point, I can log in but only with that crazy password that "they" gave me and I'm never going to remember that.

Does anyone know how I can reset my password?

You can change your password in your control panel (then go to Edit Profile) Just click on Control Panel under your username in the upper right corner. Sorry it's giving you so much grief! The secure login seemed to do the trick for me.

Someone really needs to do some work on both Michael's and Kaysar's boards 'cause now I've got a headache. :mad:
