does anybody have weird dreams. i'll tell you one of the weird dreams i've had. i had a dream about armageddon and all i seen standing in my town was the 3 blocks of high rise flats here which i live in one. i looked outside the window and there was all sand like a desert and just the people who lived in the flats. next thing that happens is these big grollias, king kong size coming to eat us. they where putting there hands in the windows of peoples flats and grabing them to eat. i woke up when they where trying to get me.:cool:

Sometimes i dream someone did somthing that gets me mad....they really did not i just dreamed it. But when i wake up i'm still mad! LOL
(and no i dont need anger management , i'm extremely hard to get angry...when i'm awake that is)

I have weird dreams all the time. It drives me insane because...well, I worry about my mind when they get too weird.

I had a dream with dinosaurs in it. It was set in my hometown, where my grandfather lives. And, there was a group of us running from the bad guys, and there were many dinosaurs running around terrorizing people.

The last bit of it I remember (It's now 2 years old.hehe) was that the TRex was running towards us and we were huddling behind a car and our guns wouldn't work. :(

sounds like maybe you watched Planet Of The Apes recently, no? ;) *lol*

But oh yes...hell yeah...my dreams are epics and I could literally write books about them...but to be succinct, here's the main subjects of my dreams:

1. Strange Hotels (with elevators that take you to odd levels)
2. Can't find where I parked
3. Cell phone does not function
4. School - can't find the classes I'm supposed to be going to - fear of being late or getting work done on time (mind you I graduated HS in 1993! *lol* )

One of the most strangest dreams I've had was...I was a nun...and I was dancing around this big open room inside some medieval castle...there was a window..outside it was the statue of liberty...and it was raining...A LOT...so much so that the statue was drowning...and then before her face hit the water, it became alive and spoke to me in a male's voice...but I don't remember wtf he/she said! *lol*

Your first theme sounds similar to one of my themes. I have experiences with buildings that have confusing set-ups. IT's basically a maze, and has more floors and exits and entrances than it has people in it! It drives me mad!

Yep...exactly!!! Lots of my hotels were mazes...and you really could get lost in it...no way out...very insane!!

Have any of you had flying dreams? I have...but it's VERY rare...it has to be one of the most incredible feelings ever...I've flown over forest lands...and even around the complex where I live...it's amazing what your brain can let you feel...it opens so many areas of exploration in the human mind.

No flying dreams. A lot of running dreams.A lot of my dreams seem more like visions. I am running from the bad guys, or chasing the bad guys. I'm protecting some children or someone else.

Most of the time, it's me running through and around buildings, and they're always buildings I'm not supposed to be in. They're fun in a twisted sort of way because I never wake up scared from those type. I just wake up wanting to learn more and wishing it wouldn't end.

i do have the weirdest dreams, but i love dreaming. i've woken myself up once by laughing and another time when i woke up i was crying. there was this other night i dreamt i was at work and when i woke up i realised i still had to go to work, it was one long day i tell you.

That is so ironic! I was just discussing a strange dream I had with my friend! I also thought about starting a topic like this myself yesterday, but didn't think anyone would pay attention!!!!!!!

Okay well, I had a dream that this guy I graduated with and I attended the same college. His name is Corey and he is like the most perfect guy that you will ever meet: sweet, generous, caring, devoted, strong, faithful, the whole nin yeard, I mean his mom raised him extremely well, the guy does nothing wrong and on top of all of it he is incredibly smart... anyways, we were in a dorm room that was decorated in an old Victorian/goth mansion fashion... classically beautiful but eerie at the same time, the total opposite of a dorm, and we were talking. We left the room and entered this huge dining area where two people were talking... we went over to them and Corey just killed the guy! Which is so not in his character! He grabbed my hand and we ran back to his room where he opened a hidden door in the wall and he asked me to come with him... I didn't at first, but was scared and went anyway... Then I woke up! So I don't know what happened!!!!!!!!


I also had a dream about Kaysar... but before everyone get psyched up or "sexed up" as my roomate says, it wasn't that kind of dream... a while back I noticed that we have seen Kaysar's mother, but never his father, it is no ones place to question the fact, it is just there and it is not my business or anyone elses to know why we don't know anything about Kaysar's father... but that night I just kept thinking about it... and this was the dream I had:

I was on the phone with a guy talking about arrangements for later that day... I must have neared the end because all I clearly remember was saying goodbye... but I took a shower, got ready, and dressed in a very beautiful, classic black and white dress... (this is so weird to me, because I rarely wear dresses)... I went outside and waited. A black limo pulled up to the house and I got in. I looked at the people in the car with me, none of whom I know, except one guy that is sitting next to me: Kaysar. We ride in silence to this place, I can't remember anything about getting there except that I looked at Kaysar's eyes and he seemed extremely sad... The next thing I remember is being outside at some kind of ceremony, which had just ended. The ceremony had been for Kaysar's father. Many people were standing around, then it grew very quite... Kaysar walked to the front of the room and picked up one of two white roses lying on a table. He looked at me and I went and got the other rose and followed him out of the room... next I remember being in a huge open field, just me and Kaysar, holding those roses, and I was crying. He came over and hugged me, not in a romantic way, but in a best friend kind of way... in my dream I was thinking, and told him that he should be crying not me... I remember, just before waking up that I looked into his (gorgeous) eyes and he told me that it was okay, he didn't need to cry. Then I woke up.

It was so strange, the K dream I mean... I just felt like I had known him forever in that dream when in all reality I know very little... it just wierded me out... wanted to share, even though the subject matter is a bit eerie...

I have had dreams with Johnny Depp in them, and it's always when it's been months since I've seen a movie with him in it. I don't even hear about him, and he shows up in a dream.

I consider myself psychic, so a lot of the time, if my dream seems very surreal and very much out of place, I wonder if I'm sharing someone else's dream, especially if I've managed to not recognize anyone in it and anything in it.

It's rare I have that. I, too, rarely wear dresses, yet in all my memorable dreams, I'm always wearing a dress. It's very strange. heh

I (rarely) have dreams with a certain "feel" to them that I now expect to be fulfilled at some point in my life. At first, they were just dreams with a strange feel to them that themselves made themselves memorable. But then, one or two of those memorable dreams HAPPENED, and I freaked. Nothing terribly important, mind, just either deja vu all over again, or I'd really dreamed it before it happened.

Started me keeping a dream diary. And then one night, I had a dream, and it freaked me, because I and a large number of other hippee-types were being HERDED through a fenced-in maze toward a large industrial building, and the air smelled of fear.

It had that feeling and upset me a good bit.


A few years later, I was in line at a Grateful Dead concert, waiting to get into the hall, and realize two things at once: the visuals are the exact ones from my dream, and the crowd is pushing increasingly hard, so that I, a fairly ... substantial ... person, am in danger of squishing the little bitty hippee in front of me.

And then I notice that the shoving is intensifying, and the air smells of fear.

And that dream, I believe to this day saved SOMEONE getting hurt in the crush, because when I realized it was the dream, the slaughterhouse ambiance that had troubled me came to me, and I threw back my head and set my feet so I wasn't very moveable, and I MOOOOOOED as loud as I could, and that's pretty loud.

The pressure of the crowd slackened, there was a bit of laughter, and from other places in the crowd, OTHER people began mooing too! No shoving, just mooing.

Do I have a few dreams in the diary that I don't see HOW they can be as positive as that? Yeah. Do I hope that despite this feeling those dreams never happen? You betcha.

Will I remember to moo? Unless something else will work better, you bet!

Anyone else ever do lucid dreams? I can't count on it, but I've done it on purpose a few times.....

Lucid dreaming is awesome. Most of my dreams are fairly lucid, mainly because I do realize, part of the way through, that I am dreaming, and while I can control some of it, there is this feeling, as well, that you can't control all of it. I sometimes do it when I'm startled awake by something stupid, and I want to return to the same dream.

By then, though, I think the dream shifts to a different direction. I'm always left wanting more.

My dreams are usually like some epic novel that goes on and on. I dreamed recently that I was sitting on the steps of the coliseum...like in Rome...or Athens...one of those kind and I was waiting with my husband (didn't see him) for them to bring us babies. It was long and drawn out...

Since I was 15 I've had dreams that I'm holding a little baby and my husband comes into the room but I can't completely see his face. He's tall, brown and has really curly, dirty blonde hair. He appears biracial but I can't tell. I think this might be what my future husband looks like. The last dream I had of him he was ironing his work clothes while I was feeding our son in the kitchen. His back was turned to me so I couldn't see his face only his curls. So needless to say every tall, brown man with curls gets my attention(ie Kaysar, except for the dirty blonde part)

*lol* yeah I have those type dreams too where I'm with a guy, but I don't really know who he is...or his face changes several times...speaking of babies...I've had many pregnancy dreams (mind you I've never been pregnant or have children!)...but the process of becoming pregnant was very bizarre...it was done in a test tube...and I got to see the fertilization in front of my eyes..and then this is where it gets weird...once it happened, the egg turned into a small Dell logo and then inserted into a chicken egg and then placed inside of me! I dunno...I just dunno!

RTFL :D well here's the thing...I no longer use Dell computers! I'm an Apple girl now! So maybe Dell was trying to get revenge on me somehow in its twisted ways! *lol* :D

One other strange thing I'm able to do is wake up from a dream and then go right back to where I left off...as if I'd put it on pause and then I sleep and then I press play! Anyone else have that ability?

Me too. I just thought I was weird. And when I lay down to go to sleep at night, the last dream I had the night before is the thing that pops up in my head.

They say that dreams are a way of subconsciously dealing with your life...I'd say I need therapy. And lots of it. :)

No one else in my family dreams that way. Most of them don't even remember their dreams.

I once had this dream that J.K. Rowling had kidnapped me and a bunch of other people and put us in a mall, but she let me and this guy named Tony go out so he could teach me to skateboard...then later I died, and when I "woke up" I was him, and I found out that J.K. Rowling had killed everyone except "me" and this really annoying guy named Neil from these peasant girls who were stealing everyone's stuff. "I" started having this fit and throwing stuff and saying it wasn't true and that why did she have to do this to "me". Neil suggested that it was because she wanted me to suffer. "I" started yelling at him. "Why couldn't she have killed you instead of Jackie! Done us all a favor!" Then we recieved a note from JKR explaining everything, but it was in Italian and "I" couldn't read it. The real me woke up when "I" was trying to decipher it.

Interesting, but I actually had a dream about Kaysar this morning. It was of the "so real I was pissed when I woke up" variety.

I hate when that happens. I've had several dreams where I could feel the kiss or the hand on my arm and was stunned when I woke up to find that it was only a dream. I love the dreams with feel-a-vision.

As far as Kaysar dreams...I may have only had 2...but they're really nothing big....it was one of those things where it was him for a few scenes...then he turned into someone else who I'd rather it not be!

Okay, I just woke up from a vivid dream and want to share it with you guys before I forget it. Interpretations are welcome. This will be stream of conscious:

So we're back in the Big Brother house and I'm in there too! And so is melly, and we're in the Sov alliance with Kaysar and Michael, who are also back in the house. FranzKafka is there too, but he's not a houseguest; he's sitting at a table with 3 other sports-like commentators and they are commentating on the game. And he has reddish-blonde curly hair!!!

And there's this snotty little mean girl walking around in short shorts and lime green suede boots who I know is in the other alliance but who I have to make pleasantries with because of the game.

So I'm sitting at this table across from Kaysar and we're about to balance our checkbooks together; not joint checkbooks, just do ours individually at the same time. For some reason, this is a game. And I'm so excited because we're going to balance our checkbooks together! And we're joking amiably; I see he has a receipt from a place in Bath, England and I call him a show-off. And he laughs.

So Michael's walking around behind us (looking for his receipts?) and I can't even look at him or talk to him because I'm so embarrassed by all the silly girly things I said about him on these boards. (Only that's not true in real life - I've said silly girly things about Kaysar).

So then I have a big handful of pennies. And I go over to Franz (who is still commentating) and melly and I say "this is my shoutout" or something like that, and I throw all my pennies across the room at them. They don't get hurt or anything, but pennies scatter all over the floor. And I know that in the morning, I'm going to have to get up early and clean all the pennies up.

Then I woke up.

I love reading about your dreams! Vivid and might I say "Crazy"!! I don't dream, sad to say but true. Though, I did have one dream about losing my son at an amusement park. It was so horrible that's probably why I haven't had any since. Not true , cause I never had any before. Some of the reason may be that I only get 4-5 hrs.sleep on a regular basis. I'm kinda like the eveready bunny who can keep going & going ...bam! bam! bam! I make myself go to bed jsut because they say its not healthy to get less than 8hrs sleep and so I comprise on 50% healthiness. Another part of it may have to do w/ being an atheist. I figure theres no gods therefore no heaven so this life on earth really isn't a dress rehersal and theres so little time to enjoy it that I hate to waste it on sleep!! Cause I'm not getting any extra time in some other metaphysical arena!! One thing I do though before I go to sleep is a little self hypnosis or mantra that seems to work when I do it which is to repeat to myself " WHen your alarm goes off you will wake up feeling refreshed and ready to face the new day!" So whose crazy now?:)

You're probably right. But I just checked my profile and I'm down from over 12 posts/day to around 11 per day. Maybe the dream is my subconsciousness's way of tying up loose BB6 ends and getting some closure.

If there are any experts (or interested dabblers) in dream interpretation, I'd sure like to hear your ideas on the meaning of the pennies, the checkbook game taking the place of chess, and those lime green boots.

LOL. that's too funny! anii - you crazy lady!! oh and stop throwing pennies at me! that hurts!! LOL. "this is my shout out" what the hell?! OMG this is tooo funny. i dont know what to make of it. Dreams are freakin BONKERS huh?! :P

....as for my dreams. well lets just say i have an endless supply of wierd dreams. too many to recount! a lot involve realy really random ppl. it could be somene i just met that day, someone i just saw on the street, or someone in my class that i've never talked to. ohhh and some involove realllly big animals. like the other day, i dreamnt of a giant PINK elephant. yah...creepy. and not just becuz it was giant, but becuz it was PINK. oh for the love of God - PINK!!!!! :mad: it was madness i tell you. madness!!!

Okay... speaking of waking up and going back into the dream... well... this isnt about that

My roomate said that she dreamt that she was raped then she woke up - scared of course - then when she finally got back to sleep she dreamt she died.

I've heard that dreams rarely have any meaning regarding their content - any ideas on what these may mean???

Reoccurring dream I've had for many years:
I'm sleeping in my bed when I realize that if I don't get out of the room and quick, I'm going to die. The windows are disappearing and I know the door only has a few seconds before it is gone too. I jump out of bed (and usually sleep walk and make it into the bathroom or closet at this point), but I'm always too late. The windows are gone and the door is gone too. I'm in a dark square that is closing in on me and I only have seconds before I'm going to die. My heart is beating so hard, it's ready to fly out of my chest. I don't want to die. I wake up and always find it hard to calm myself after this dream. I dream this quite often but sometimes it takes the form of a coffin instead of my bedroom and I still can't get out. Even more terrifying.

I remember chating with you last night about dreams....I just came in to read some more of your posts(I like them) But i couldnt find our posts *hummm*...So I stared to think *maybe that was a dream* :O...But this same topic is on page two :P ...scared me alittle :O( lol

aw im sorry! there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with the color pink - unless of course, your name is melly. LOL. :P actually pink is great. Pepto Bismol is pink. little piggies are pink. Roses are pink. My face gets pink when Kaysar signs on!! i Mean...PINK IS JUST DANDY!! :D

..and noo i havent heard that saying before. But now i have!! Kinda hard to ignore the pink giant elephant...esp, when its in your nightmares, er, dreams!!:)

I had a wierd dream about one of my professors. I couldn't even look at him today.

I always have wierd dreams. One time I woke up while dreaming during REM sleep. I couldn't move any part of my body (we are paralyzed from the neck down during slumber so we won't act out our dreams and hurt ourselves) I about freaked out. I remember dreaming I was drowing. When I woke up it was like I was still dreaming but I was awake. it was crazy. Scared the crap out of me though. I also lucid dream too. (i think that is what it is called) When you are dreaming and you know it. One time I dreamt that I was running from the Predator from the movie and I was like "this isn't real. I am dreaming" Then the next thing I knew I was at Carowinds. Crazy.
I also have dreams of my teeth falling out. I will be eating something and they will just break like glass.
