I've been. I loved it. It's really beautiful. And I met this really hot Irish guy at the beach and we "had fun" in the back of a bus. I didn't like the food, though. I was really drunk in Ireland and a lot of it I can't remember, but I do remember kissing the Blarney stone.

Good question. I lived in the UK for a year and wanted to visit Ireland but I never made it and I regret it. My grandmother was born in N. Ireland and immigrated to Canada when she was 16. I have relatives in N. Ireland and the Republic of Ireland whom I have yet to meet.
Other places I've been that I would recommend are:
- Vancouver, BC - Jericho beach is the best, we stay at the Kitsilano B&B every time
- Lausanne, Switzerland - one of the most beautiful places I've ever been, breathtaking
- London, UK - yes, even after everything that's happened. The IRA set bombs off in the BR stations when I was working there in 1990. It's a scary fact of life and, as the U.S. recently learned no one is immune. But you just have to go on; you can't run off to the hills and hope you're safe. We all must be the change we want to see in the world, be brave, and LIVE.
- Glasgow, Scotland - very fun and down-to-earth people; The Riverside Club has fantastic "punk squaredancing" - but get there early cuz they close the doors at 9pm
- Paris, France - as cities go, it's just as noisy, crowded, and dirty as any large metropolis, but the ART - omg the ART! you have to visit the Musee d'Orsay and the Rodin Museum, also sunset from a bridge on the Seine will break your heart
- Nice, France - well, the entire mediterranean coast is great, but there is a Marc Chagall museum in Nice that features his Genesis paintings in a quiet and serene garden setting
- the lake district in Italy - Lake Como, Lake Maggiore - I was on a train to Milan and I wish to god I'd jumped off and stayed in the lake district - but it was during the 1990 world cup and there were no vacancies - anywhere! still I wish I'd taken the chance
That's it for me.

I *love* men with Irish accents - soooo sexy.
BTW, what did you think of the Irish guy on Real World Paris? Was he cute or what?

I went to Ireland, Scotland, and England over Spring Break earlier this year and fell in love with it. Dublin was wonderful, the country was lovely. I would love to live there someday, not forever, just for a few years, for hte experience. I love trying new things!
