And I'm so excited because we're going to balance our checkbooks together! And we're joking amiably; I see he has a receipt from a place in Bath, England and I call him a show-off. And he laughs.

So Michael's walking around behind us (looking for his receipts?) and I can't even look at him or talk to him because I'm so embarrassed by all the silly girly things I said about him on these boards. (Only that's not true in real life - I've said silly girly things about Kaysar).

So then I have a big handful of pennies. And I go over to Franz (who is still commentating) and melly and I say "this is my shoutout" or something like that, and I throw all my pennies across the room at them. They don't get hurt or anything, but pennies scatter all over the floor. And I know that in the morning, I'm going to have to get up early and clean all the pennies up.

I read in a dream interpretation book years ago that if you dream that you are falling that if you hit bottom that you will die. I have always woken up before I hit. Has anyone hit bottom and woke up fine? Just curious.

Ever have a dream that you discover new rooms in your house or new drawers in your dresser with new stuff inside? I always hate to awaken from those.

I used to have dreams in which I could fly quite high, up to the clouds, but they stopped after I got my BA for some reason. I think maybe "flying" dreams are about feeling young and free and full of possibility - a soaring kind of invincible feeling.

I used to have a lot of dreams about being chased by vampires and no matter how many times I killed them - or tried to - they were indestructable. I wonder if those dreams are about peer pressure.

Who dreams in color? I do, but I've heard many people don't. I guess the strangest dream I ever had was about the Simpsons. It was a cartoon dream.

it took place in a bingo hall and i was with a lot of the s6 and one of my friends from school and kaysar went around hugging everyone... and totally skipped me and ignored me.

If that were my book I would throw it in the trash or put it back on the bookstore shelf. Snakes are not simply *bad omens* or about *mistrust*. Snakes can also be about changes and transformations in one's life. I love snakes so in my dreams they are usually a *good omen* (I posted about that here in this thread).

This is why I don't rely on dream dictionaries. They only give a single group's POV on dream symbols. All of us are unique with different life experiences, different tastes and likes.. dream dictionaries can not encompass it all. That's why I really recommend people learning how to analyze their dreams for themselves. A good method is the *dream interview* method taught by Dr. Gayle Delaney (also mentioned in this thread).

I hope I didn't offend you... I just get a bit miffed when dream dictionaries don't give more sides to their meanings. Esp. when they insult snakes... LOL;) When you gave the teeth one I had a feeling your book wouldn't pass *the snake test*.

I do have several dream dictionaries (the ones that past my snake test;)) But I *always* listen to my own self first... When there is a symbol or scene that happens in my dreams I first question myself - How did it make me feel? Why did I find it disturbing? Why was I excited? How do I use or see those items in my everyday life? Those are the kinds of questions people should ask themselves when analyzing their dreams.

As long as people don't take those dream dictionaries as *gospel*. They are not accurate and not universal for all people.

So you don't think dreams can be meaningful and communicate what's going on in one's life? Sure some dreams are purely for fun, but most I have found hold messages that if we learn how to *ask the right questions* we can figure out the puzzle of our dreams. Dream books can be dangerous because someone who thinks they are *gospel* will get the wrong message. I take dream interpreting very seriously.

I know what to think of my dreams and what they mean in 'my life'..I dont go by dream books...no one can tell me what my dreams mean in my life but me...To me dream book are just for fun...they are not worth the paper they are write'n on.....and i think ppl would take them for what they are...just fun :)

I have very vivid dreams at time. I have dreams where something incredible, like a really cool vacation is about to happen, or something like that and I'll say in the dream, "This better not be a dream or I'll be pissed...".

oh no. I hope not either. That would be a lot to handle. Last night i had a disturbing dream. I dreamt that 3 tornados came through a bridge loaded with people. The bridge colasped but one peice remained standing. The people got out of thier cars and started yelling for help. Then a helicopter came to rescue them off the piece of bridge that survived but as it was comming the bridge started to fall to the side and it fell into the water. Most people died but there were a few that survived. I hated this dream i hope nothing like that ever happens

I had a dream this summer while tooling around the countryside in France. I was walking with a young girl of about 17 (my grandmother Eleanor), she was dressed in all white, everything around us was white-the sidewalk, the fence and the clouds swirling all around us. We just walked for a while, holding hands, chatting and laughing (don't remember the conversation); her laughter was always like tinkling glass-so pretty. Eventually, we came to the front of the gate and she hugged me and said she could go the rest of the way alone. I didn't want to leave her but she seemed confident and happy so I said goodbye. When I got home from my trip...I found out she had passed away. During her passing she spoke of knocking on the door but they wouldn't let her in yet, and feeling lost-not knowing which way to go. I also found out she passed on the same day I had my dream. We were very close and I do believe that she came to say goodbye. I also believe that somehow I helped her. I hope I never forget that dream.

I am not a shoe person, but I have lots of shoes. athletic shoes, sandals and tennis shoes. No highheels or anything fancy, just lots of plain shoes. Strange happenings have been occuring my house for quite sometime. Stove element turning on, light in my livingroom turning on twice by itself when we were in bed going to sleep, but still awake and witnessed it from our room, bathroom door rattling, Bedrail on my bed for baby was up numerous times when I woke up in the morning even though I am positive I did not put it up, tv has gone off by itself and surround sound on by itself. Those are only a few and not to mention our cat sitter said he saw a dark movement in our house when he was here feeding the cats and refused to come back alone without his son. This happened several weeks ago when we were away for a week. Very interesting interpretations about sole/soul. I didn't think about that. Dh talks about moving out of here cause it is creepy sometimes.:

My mom said growing up we moved quite a bit and everytime there has been weird things that happen. She said once my baby shoes went missing and she couldnt find them anywhere.,Then 2 weeks later she found them under the seat cover of her rocking chair, and then we moved and i had a friend over and she said she saw a man walk past my bedroom door into my dads room. She though it was my dad but my dad was down stairs. And one time my dad was in bed and kept hearing a whispering saying I know your out there, and he said it got louder and louder. but he was the only one who heard it. He woke my mom up cause he was scared and woke me up to see if i heard it. Now where i live I have heard someone call my name out form downstairs. I heard you shouldnt answer back. The calling the name out i heard from an old frien. She just always said what ever you do dont answer it back. I guess she felt like it would be an evil energy or something,.She never really explained. I wish i wouldve asked her more questions but at the time nothing like that has ever happened, One of the coolest things ive heard was my ex's story. He said one time he went to bed andput his head on his pillow and heard like a party going on. He heard whispering and laughing and music. He thought it was comming from downstairs but it wasnt. It was only when he put his head to the pillow when he heard that. He said also one time he was out with 2 friends driving in his car and he looked into the rear view mirror and saw 2 red eyes. Yikes cold chill now. anyway that to me wouldve prob made me pee my pant. I have been to a place called The Light in Ohio and you go at night park your car and flash your light 3 times and then sit. You acually will see this blushish light come towards you. A little girl was hit by a truck on the road. Its freaky to begin with cause your out in the boonies. Your cell phones dont work. So it sets the scence up. I like going there with people who are into this stuff like me cause they will stay and watch. I been there once with a friend who got so scared she wanted to leave right away before anything even happened.

i had a dream last night about Orlando Bloom. I went to the premier of his lastest movie Eliz Town and afterwards i got his autograph but i got a bad vibe from him and he didnt sign his name it looked like squiggles., I was really mad. Then it jumped with me on a bus with fellow student and they were taking us to the airport to fly us to Las Vegas. I remember feeling scared becasue i am afraid of flying. I had my first, remembered :), Kaysar dream. I dreamed I was in the Pressure cooker with Kaysar and Jennifer. They were arguing and talking and I was just ignoring everyone and focusing on the button and keeping my mind busy making limericks so I wouldn't go to sleep (I told you I like limericks). Eventually, she started crying and let go of the button and he let go because apparently I'd never been HOH and he wanted me to have it. I didn't even know it was over until Kaysar came over and took my hand and pulled it off the button. Weird ugh?

Just the fact that it was N.D. is scary enough!! LOL!

I always fantasize to help me get to sleep... but rarely do I dream of those characters...

I don't recall any dreams where someone was trying to kill me... Most my nightmares consist of being in prison or in a situation that's out of my control. Maybe I don't get the killing kinds of dreams because I don't fear death. I'm actually looking forward to crossing over.

There is no controling me... LOL! That was determined a long time ago. LOLOL! Seriously, I don't like boundaries or being held back... I'm very much an outspoken free spirit and those times I'm stuck in a situation - like family member I don't like staying with us or a job situation I don't like those prison dreams will come up.

It's also about my being a bit of a control freak. I like to be in control of the situation. It's hard for me to let go... Like right now, Hubby is in the kitchen preparing dinner and I'm literally doing my best to stay quiet and in my seat... I have this annoying habit of going into *MY* kitchen and checking up on him... LOL! He's trying to help me out with cooking, but I have a hard time letting him... Poor guy!:P

Last night i dreamt i was in school again. And it was a cooking class and we had a immunity up for grabs. So out teacher showed us our dish we had to make. At first i did well and then i just couldnt get it right. I was really upset. The teacher came over and tested mine and spit it out. I was so embarrest. I had more to the dream but i cant remember. I dreamed that I was on a plane and it had weird seating. There were three seats back to back facing the aisle on either side and then sets of two on either side of the aisle going back. All of the seats were big and leather and blue. They had cup holders and plenty of leg room. My mother was the flight attendant and I think she was younger than she is now.

I got on the plane and then realized that I had left my carryon (I was going to Europe, I think) in the terminal, so I went back to get it. When I got off the plane I was sitting on a black SUV talking to Kaysar and my luggage was in the back of the truck. It was raining pretty hard and we were talking about marriage...

...then I woke up.

Still...it didn't suck. He was standing in front of me with his hands on either side of me and I could smell him. He smelled like cinnamon. Weird Ugh?

i had the BEST dream last night. it was soo cool. LOL. ok so i dreamed i met Ryan Dusick of Maroon5, who is #3 on my celebrity crush list. :D

It was GREAT. we were talking for hours!! and he was soooo nice and gorgeous. ::sigh:: damn, why did it have to be only a dream?! :( LOL

it's wierd tho cuz i wasnt even thinking about him at all....but lo and behold, i dream about him. haha. funny stuff! it was SOOO realistic tho. i seriously woke up and went "AW MAN!" cuz the dream was over. hahahhaa. gosh, that was so funny.

dont feel bad Melly I dont dream of Kaysar either anymore. I think becasue we dont see him 3 times a week anymore. That sucks. Anyway i was reading some of the posts left while i was gone. I smell and taste and feel in my dreams. I remember one time i was stabbed in my dream and i could feel it, or having to go to the bathroom and really feeling like i had to go, or wheni do have a sex dream its really good.:) When i was on this crazy diet one time i used to dream of food all the time and taste it. It was like Hurrely in Lost in his dream where he found the food. yum. Course that didnt help my diet the next day. Id be craving everything.:)

Usually, when I'm with a woman in my dream, I'm feeling guilty because I'm not spending enough time with my family.

OMG...i dreamed about getting stabbed before too! I actually felt it too. It freakin hurt dammit!! :mad: LOL. actually, i got "stabbed" by the killer from the "scream" movies. I seriously have an unhealthy fear of the scream killer. Me and my friends used to run around school playing SCREAM, in which we'd pretend we're running from the killer. haha. ah, good times! ANYWAYS, that was creepy! he "stabbed" me in my stomach and OMG, my fear in real life is getting stabbed. so i was NOT very happy with that dream at all. :(

I hate those dreams where you have to pee!! But it's a wake up call. LOL. it tells you to get your ass to the bathroom! When i was like 5, i used to wet my bed from those kinda dreams. haha. The dream TRICKED me! :D

And i dream of FOOD too!! One time, i dreamed of pepsi LOL. when i woke up, i went straight to the fridge and got myself a PEPSI. *yum*. Sometimes, i dream of reallly random food. Even some that i've never tried before! food dreams suck! they make me real hungry. haha

It was a very draining night indeed! There was a spirit of the man there that we helped to cross over. He was attracted to the woman's energy in the house and followed her home from a radio station that used to be a train depot in the Hell's Half Acre area of Fort Worth. His wife had died in childbirth while he was away, and the woman's energy reminded him of his wife. After about an hour, we finally convinced him to go into the light.

She's also got some poltergeist activity in the house. When we were standing in her bedroom talking, I started tapping my fingers on the back of an armoire, and when I stopped, something mimicked the sound on a bathroom wall. There was nothing in there. She said that glasses will come flying off her kitchen counter and plates will start spinning. The house was built in 95, so it could be one of three things. 1) the land the house is built on, 2) there's a portal where they can enter in and out, or 3) She has such an untamed energy that she could be causing the events herself without realizing it. I suggested that she work on grounding herself and meditating to see if that will calm everything down in her home.

Ok. I had the weirdest and a bit disturbing dream last night. I live in a very safe area. But last night I dreamt that there was these three guys outside my door with guns banging on the door demanding I let them in. I could see them through my window. My best friend is with me also. We keep pleading that they leave but they wouldn't. Than my friend goes to out to talk to them. I beg her not to. But she does anyway. And as soon as she opens the door, she falls to the floor. When I run to the door, I see her on the floor with a knife in her chest. The three men are gone. She keeps saying, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry...."

And that's when I wake up. I kept wondering what that meant, if it meant anything at all. But it was one of the oddest dreams I'v had lately.

Those are weird dreams. A lot of my dreams im watching myself. Like hovering above my body and watching. Its really cool

For me it's not that they're blacked out as much as no matter how I try...I can't focus on them. And sometimes for some reason it seems really important...but that's the dream world, isn't it?

I think it would be a good idea to talk with her about her relationship. Just try not to push too hard. She may push you away and thatd be terrible. It is weird i dream and people switch really fast. I've often wondered what it is that attracts spirits to living people. That's a good example... I know some people spirits are just automatically attracted to, but those cases where people never really encountered ghosts I've wondered why they get picked.

So you are thinking she could be the cause? Or you just want to rule that out? Has she checked out what the history of the land is where her house is?

Btw, did you get to catch the A&E documentary on Mediums? It got me thinking of going to Cassadaga as soon as I can. I esp. want to look into finding a good Medium up there for my BabySis to go to....

She's been trying to do some research on her property, but she hasn't found anything yet. She was very open when I explained to her that she might be the cause of the poltergeist activity. I can't say for certain that she's the cause of it, but I do believe her energy is making it stronger.

I didn't watch the show on A&E. I wanted to see it, but I forgot to DVR it.

Okay...getting weirder...the dream I had the other night continued.

This time I'm standing beside the truck...it's a black Pathfinder if anyone cares, and it's pouring down rain...I'm talking thunder and lightening and I'm soaked and he's soaked. I'm crying...don't know why...I can't hear anything because of the rain...all I hear is the rain (and no it wasn't raining here at the time). He's talking to me though, explaining something and it seems it's very important to him that I understand. Then he hugs me very tight and I wake up...smelling cinnamon again on him.

He is Kaysar? I do find it interesting that you were a *pathfinder*... are you searching on your path?

Off the top of my head I know that cinnamon is used in magick to *attract* something, but I'm not sure if that will apply to how you feel about cinnamon. I also love the flavor of cinnamon - I use it in many of my recipes including my ice tea... Do you like cinnamon?

oh my gosh i had a dream of Kaysar last night. I was sooooooooooo Bad. Did i mention bad? Anyway We were on bb and Kaysar and I won the chance to fight for $50.000. Well they locked us in a room together where we were not alowed to talk at all. We had nothing to do but stay in the room together, And there was only 1 bed. Ok so i know your minds probably jumped to a naughty thought right then. But the idea is that we stayed in there until one of us slipped up and talked. Well it wa night time and We were in bed together but not like touching or anything and we heard this breathing noise. It was really creepy. It was getting louder and sounded like it was getting closer to us. Then all of a sounden this person jumped up from the side of the bed to scare us. It was a worker for BB. Anyways we didnt scream but from then on i was wrapped in his arms. Then it skipped a little and all i remember is doing this like strip tease thing to try a seduce him. I swear i have no idea why it went to that. And i got him to give. Oh it was lovely. Bad Winter. Bad bad. I made Kaysar do something naughty. But in all fairness he didnt complain in the dream.lol:D

I look at is as good and bad. My dad is dying ( he has drank all his life) His liver and kidney's are shutting down. I haven't had the closest relationship to him. We (my brothers and I) got to go and tell him goodbye yesterday. He doesn't look like the dad that I knew. It took 3 hours to tell him goodbye. I'm still sick to my stomach knowing that he is dying and there is nothing I can do. That is the Bad part

The good part is that I got to tell him good-bye. Everyone else that I know that has passed on I never really got a chance to tell them I loved them. It is very hard to do that. I'm just confussed right now. Sad also. I couldn't sleep just because I was thinking about it.

I wish it were a bad dream but I have pinched my self enough I'm pretty sure that I'm not dreaming.

oh luckycharm I am so sorry.A year ago i went through a similar thing. So i know what your going through. I know how hard it is to see someone you love not look themselves, I know what it is like to have to say goodbye when it seems its way too soon. I am glad you got to say goodbye. I know its hard now but it is a blessing you got to say it before, it makes it easier for you to get up and kepp moving. If you ever need to talk about it u2u me. Becasue i will understand if you need to talk about it. You will one day have good dreams again. It will just take some time.:)

Thanks. I hope I have dreams agian. It will be easier to get back to a some what normal life when he passes on and I don't have to think and know that he is in so much pain. I just need him to go peacefully. I find myself saying short litte prayers to GOD asking him to take my dad in peace and do it when he knows it won't affect his chilren to much. This is really hard for me as I have midterms starting Monday. This is not easy. I went to school today and just could not concentrate. I usuall have 4 classes but 2 we cancelled. I was so happy. I got to come home early.
Then I slept because I was so tired from my lack of sleep.

I know my life will get back to normal. I lost my uncle in March who was like a Dad and that was hard and now I'm almost better. I know that I will never get over these things but over time it will get easier.

Melly. When i was a few yrs longer I got tired of plucking my eyebrows so i started shaving them. Not all just to get rid of those wild hairs and i accidently shaves too much of one eye brow. lol. I did use an eye pensil to help cover it up. I just hate plucking im a wimp. I dont like pain. Man i cut my bangs to cover my eye brows too.lol. It just sucked. Man when ever i go to get my hair trimmed. Just an inch they take off 6in. I get so mad. There like oh your hair needs it. And im thinking but i asked for an inch. hmm kabbalist...that reminds me of REAL life. i used to get my hair cut at this salon cuz the owner is friends w/ my mom and she always gives me free hair cuts. haha. well anyways...she has this obsession w/ long hair and i have pretty long hair. Oh my goodness. Years ago when i was only 15 my boyfriend would call my every morning before school and wake me up with my annoying phone ring. Oh gosh it was sweet but i hated being woken up from my dreams. I like to sleep acually. Its always an adventure. So hed wake me up and poof my dream is gone. Noooo!! I used to hate also when id be dreaming and then id have to get up and go to the bathroom. So id hurry and get back in bed and i would dream the same dream itd switch. Very frustrating. Dad and I had our problems when I was a teen, but definitely we recovered and now I just dwell on the good memories like that one;) He's also a bigtime romantic. My sisters and I tease him that he messed things up for our Hubbys because they can't come close to being as romantic as Daddy is with Mom. I have fond memories of helping Dad surprise Mom on her b'day, anniversary, holidays, etc... He's definitely one of a kind!:cool:

I am a little envious of your relationship with your father (God forgive me :)), my own father died before I was born and I've never known one. My poor future father-in-law I fear will be quite doted on. LOL

I didn't get to meet my FIL until after I'd been with my Hubby for 18yrs. And here my FIL only lives an hour away from us... I've only known my FIL for a couple of years. He and my Hubby were estranged and have just recently been rebuilding their relationship. I'm glad they have...

I'm so happy they're working it out. As an orphan (LOL I had a mom and 6 siblings old enough to act like parents ...rolling eyes...) I pay particular attention to father relationships. It's a quirk.

I havent had a dream like that yet. But I do have dreams where you see a glimps of someones face and thats it. And then its like trying to figure out the puzzle. Did you recognize the name in the bold letters? You may have a touch of what your granny had, or maybe shes is trying to communicate to you. Deff keep an eye on the person with the letters. Did you have kind of a bad feeling when you woke up or were you rather peacefull. That may help you to figure out why you had the dream. When Kabbalist gets on here she will probably help you also. She has more knowledge than I on this subject.

This is one of my dreams Friday night. Almost put it in the psychic thread. I had a dream that was very upsetting that my son was hurt and was asking for morphine. The word morphine really stuck out because I don't think I have ever said or thought about morphine in my whole life. Also it was a very jarring word in the actual dream.
I was distressed by it all weekend-still can't shake it in a way.
Then on the way to work today, I was talking to the girl I ride with, and she said her dog had to have surgery Friday night, and was in so much pain, he was on morphine.
Is that weird?

With your obvious connection to animals I wouldn't doubt if it was prophetic...

That's about as close as I get to prophetic dreams... like a while ago I dreamed that I was helping my nephew in a separate empty classroom to learn his math and writing... And then a couple weeks later BabySis decides to volunteer to tutor a little girl who's struggling at the same school my nephew goes to... come to find out it's in an empty classroom just like my dream was... I thought that was odd that I dreamed that and then she actually ends up doing it for another little girl she doesn't even know...
Yours seems sort of prophetic-but mine happened sort of at the same time-more like a psychic connection or ESP....with an animal. It was a horrid nightmare...so real. Like feeling pain. It certainly jarred me awake.
But it also feels like something about my son. But maybe because I am worried about him a bit, not his health though. Just finding his life path. I am less nervous about him since I heard about the dog.

I saw them strapped in their seats under water. Her hair was just floating above her and they were both peaceful looking. When I woke up I told my husband they found them, he said no, it hasn't been reported. I knew. To this day it is still so vivid. I think of it as a blessing I don't dream.

Now my dreams about men seem to be more about the emotion in the dream, then the man or the sex per se. Like if the sex is frustrating-if that's the general "feel" of the encounter, it is because I have a frustration in my life to work thru.
Once I had this very sexy dream about Kaysar tho, even tho I am old enough to be his mother. I did not care! He was on my mind for days, and that's when I became a super Kaysar fan. Never did try to analyze it-just wanted to enjoy it.

Now my dreams about men seem to be more about the emotion in the dream, then the man or the sex per se. Like if the sex is frustrating-if that's the general "feel" of the encounter, it is because I have a frustration in my life to work thru.
Once I had this very sexy dream about Kaysar tho, even tho I am old enough to be his mother. I did not care! He was on my mind for days, and that's when I became a super Kaysar fan. Never did try to analyze it-just wanted to enjoy it.

OMG i had a dream about Kaysar this morning. LOL. it's wierd. i havent dreamt about him since BB ended! Anyhoo, it was one of those 3 dreams in row thingies. Ok here's what happened...

first, i was running away from a haunted house and i couldnt get over the fence and i was panicking & then....

i was sitting at a *gavin degraw* concert and he was singing right to me ::sigh:: and then....

i'm all of sudden in a classroom and guess who is my substitute teacher?? that's right...kaysar!! LOL. i must admit, he looked damn good too! he kept calling on me tho for all the answers & i was sooo pissed at him for doing that. hehe. I'd love for Mr. Ridha to come teach my class anyday. Hell YES.

.....well that was a FUN dream. i got chased by ghosts, serenaded by my fave singer, and got picked on by kaysar. AWESOME-ness!!! :P haha, dreams...gotta luv them!

I felt like there was a lot of psychic intensity about the whole JFK Jr. thing before they were found. Maybe it had something to do with being in that water-maybe it was a good medium or something if that makes sense. An eerie dream.

Yes, I think that makes perfect sense. Control, dominance, assertiveness issues. It could be you are with a woman because you can have control, but also the "woman" could really just be the two sides of you-the side you are more comfortable with, and the side that you may want to experiment with.
Then you talk about the Kaysar dream where maybe you would like him to control you. Again, it could just be working out when you like to be in control and when you want to give control to another. Why do you think it would be ok for him to be in control, in your opinion? Maybe that will lead to some interesting thoughts.
