I am a Christian and for the longest I've been shy about this particular forum. I so feel afraid of offending anyone with my personal beliefs, but I absolutely LOVE talking about religion/faith and the differences between the many that exist.

I guess I need reassurance that as long as I'm respectful, I'll be respected. I've been SO disrespected in the past by non-Christians, even to the point of tears. I almost developed a fear of religious discussions, but I think I'm coming out of it. Anyway, thanks for listening and see you guys in the other forums!!!

We are all here to learn. As for respect. That is something that we hold dearly. and it does go both way. If at anytime you feel that someone is being disrespectful repot it. The forum is somewhat diff. because it can be very touchy.

I myself will answer questions to the best ov my ability. Welcome to the forum :)

I love this forum and the people on it. They have been so kind.
I too always am afraid of offending poeple when it comes to religion, for one i dont know a great deal about any religion , therefore i get worried that my questions themselves might offend.
Another is that i associate in terms that more fit me, so my wording is not quite as elogent (i'm a bad speller too :P) as alot of the others here.
I also have had some really bad experiences with organized religions that has caused me , and still does in most ways , to stay way away from them.
I have found here that i am able to ask questions, get answers, and feel no pressure. And as i have said the people on this Forum are great.

I'm a Christian too. You will find these people are caring and sharing.
Like you, I've been in situations where non-believers criticized me, and even in situations where those ID ing themselves as Christians have.

Dont worry. I am Catholic and thought the same thoughts. But as long as you respect others religions and beliefs you shouldnt have any problems. I have had nothing but good comments and respect from people here with a differnt religion. I really appreciate that.

Welcome MeMySelfandI I too am a Christian and I am not afraid to share my beliefs and the bible. So far I haven't been persecuted, but Jesus was and remember he said,

If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: "No servant is greater than his master." If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the ONE who sent me. John 15:18-21

So jump in and share your thoughts :) As I read further it looks as if the Persecution has begun. but for those of you who think just because Kaysar said it was ok to chat about Muslim faith that I cant chat about Christian faith. I will not stop posting, if you dont want to read my posts them dont, its simple as that!

Welcome to the discussion. I am a Muslim, and also enjoy sharing and talking about religious topics. In these days and times with all of the negative infomation out there about Islam, I am thrilled that you are interested in learning and sharing.

Have I not done that? If not I'd really appreciate if you can show me a post where I have not respected the forum nor the members. All I have done here is express my beliefs and yes I've quoted the bible, just as you have expressed your beliefs and quoted the Quran.
Just because you tell me you think the bible is full of Error and Jesus isn't God, I don't take that as disrespectfullness. That is your opinion, I'm not going to call you disrespectful because you have different beliefs.
As far as you thinking this forum needs to remain strictly Muslim,is that like My way or the highway? Why are most the threads containing both Muslim and Christian views or titles?
Like I've said before if you don't want to read my Christian viewpoint then a simple and effective remedy would be to just skip over the posts that say 4Jay4Kay.

Thanx everyone for being so open to me and my viewpoints. I will always be mindful of the varying beliefs of the other members of the forum/board and I hope we all can have tons of civil, intellectual conversations about our beliefs and opinions. Isn't this great that we can all discuss how we feel in a calm, rational way and learn so much from each other instead of assuming!!!

Thats what I thought at first but it looks as if some would like this board to remain strictly Muslim religion beliefs only. I have done nothing but share my beliefs and opinions. And no where have I disrespected anyone here.
