I am a special teacher by day and a part time caterer by evenings. I never teach during the summer and the catering job is also seasonal. The busiest time for catering is during the winter holidays. This spring is a little bit slow which is unusual.

I have three grown children.

My fondest Internet experience is very hard to say since there are so many....when I had my AOL blog, I made many friends there that mean a lot to me....on here I made many friends who I hope never to lose touch with.....I go to a working mothers board where I have also made friend with and also on writingup.com. I have a lot of friends at bravenet too. It is very hard to pick the most fondest out of those since they are all fond for me.:cheers:

Yes, I have lived in Chicago since I was just a few months old.

My favorite colors are purple, blue and red.

My house is brick with three bedrooms (two in light green color and the master bedroom in blue color), one of the bedrooms is used for my large desk for my computer and I have bookshelves and filing cabinet in here, a large living area(dark green color)and a small kitchen with storage in the back. I also have a finished basement with the laundry room in there. The garage is behind the backyard. It is on city property so the yard are small. The basement also has two storage rooms.

I don't have any pets but we are deciding whether to get birds or a chihuahua or a teacup poodle.

I always look for specials in the sale paper and I am a coupon clipper. I also have a Jewel card that gives me savings and I go to Certi Savers.

For a weekday breakfast I just munch on a breakfast bar but on weekends I cook eggs, sausage or bacon and a hashbrown pattie. DH loves omelettes. For my lunch on weekdays, I just have my "Oscar Myer Lunchables" that have the Ritz Crackers, turkey, and cheese with the oreo cookies. On weekends, I have homemade soups and sometimes a grilled chesse sandwich.

For dinners, I always plan menus ahead of time and make an entree which can be chicken (fried chicken, baked chicken, chicken caccitore, chicken cordon bleu, other chicken breast recipes) steak, pork chops, spagetti. Then I steam the veggies and then make a pasta dish or mashed or baked potatoes. I fry french fries if I make fish. I make salmom, perch, halibut, catfish, and cod. I also make meatloaf and stuffed peppers. This list can just go on.

Some days when I feel lazy I just make a salad, hot dogs, or hamburgers and fries.

We sometimes order a pizza but not that often.

My favorite TV shows are Medium, Ghost Whisperer, Close To Home, ER, Apprentice and off course Big Brother.

My favorite movies are Gone With The Wind, Wuthering Heights, and Fright Night.

My favorite book I ever read is Cry In The Night, (I read it several times and had the same effect on me)

My favorite time of day is between 3-6 PM.

DH had done many romantic things for me...I have to think, when he first proposed to me and then said his vows to me...that was way too special. When he gave me the engagment ring, that was also too much since I never thought this guy would want to keep seeing me. I mean he was just too good to be true.

We are planning to go to Cancun this coming June.

I would love to go to Great Britain since it seems to have the Old World look.

I would ask Kaysar what are his long term career plans and what type of acting does he want to do in movies if that is still his plan.

Four things I love about myself:

1) The fact that I raised my children
2) My writing ambition
3) My ability to laugh very easily
4) My love for children

I am proud of not only having raised my children but also the fact that I got my college degree and have a chance to work with children in the urban schools inspite of the problems the inner city schools have.

::Thank You....I am also glad to be back. I am not leaving again...I may sometimes take a day off here sometimes but that is the max.:cheers:

Now your first question is very hard since I have so many precious memories of this forum. I have made many friend here who mean way a lot to me.

I will name one though....one day, I was a little blue since so much was going on in my life and a dear friend here could tell by my posts that I was not having a good day. We kept exchanging PMs. I mean she really really cared what was going on and the fact that she had sensed me told me a lot about how much she cares. It also so happened that I had the most posts out of everyone that day and she mentioned it in a new thread and that just touched my heart.

I am most thankful for having very loving parents even though we don't always agree and the way they made sure I made kept on the right path and also for my DH who I really love. I am thankful for the children I have.

My dirtiest fantasy...now I hope you mean just pure fantasy....a date with Denzel Washington along with some heavy necking.

1. Other than Kaysar, I think James should win BB7
2. I would love to live in Maine, Vermont, or Boston since I love the taste of New England.
3. I have always loved Tweety Bird because he is too cute and I love his voice and his singing and the way he outsmarts the cat.
4. My favorite singers are Madonna, Whitney Houston, Keith Sweat, Bobby Brown, Luther Vandross, Natalie Cole, Ricky Nelson, and Elvis
4. I think the internal wars, extensive poverty, and the aids situation in some of the African coutries are the saddest to me.

If I can only use one word to descrive myself it would be vivasious.....because I have a lot of spirit and I laugh very easy at the least little thing....because I try to keep the atmosphere alive...I hope I don't sound like I am bragging....

My greatest accomplishment is not only raising my children but also putting them through college and advanced learning institutions that they now have degrees from and they are well placed....

I love poetry...I read it and I write it as well.....I like Robert Frost and Emily Dickinson...Frost because he wrote facts as they were and Emily because she wrote from her heart like I write from my emotions since I am not very good at verbally expressing myself so I do it through my poetry. My writing is my outlet for my expressions....

What I want to do in my lifetime is earn a living from my writing.

The person I wanted to meet is now gone...Princess Dianna because she was very close to my age and I had the privilege of watching her wedding on TV and she had accomplished so much and I wanted to meet her to tell how how much I admired her and her courage to battle her crosses she had to bear and yet face the world...her death was a bad devastation to me.

I don't know if I can say these are my talents, but I love to write off course and work outside in the yard and do gardening and be creative with it....I use to enjoy cooking but it has become a little taxing lately...I also have a way with children since I love working with them and I do it everyday like I have the past five years....I use to design and make my own clothes and jewelry but I have not done it in a few years since my writing has taken over my mind....I am good at soduko and word puzzles and logic puzzles....I don't know if this counts as a talent but I can get by on only 3-4 hours of sleep a night so that way I have a lot of hours to play with and that is how I can work two jobs and still have a life.....:cheers:
