My husband was born in Baghdad, Iraq and lived in Samara until he was around 6 or 7 (his father's family is originally from Dujail, his Mother is from the U.S.).

We really enjoyed watching you on Big Brother last year. LMAO my husband said "Finally an Arab guy is the star of the show". Just wanted to wish you all the luck in Big Brother All Stars. We are rocking the vote for ya!

That is so sweet. My hubby isn't the one in Iraq right now, that is my FIL (Father-In-Law). Actually I think he has recently gone to Jordan though to stay a while because insurgents had bombed his car. I guess it doesn't pay to have an American wife and children for him right now.

He first went back in 2001 (if I remember correctly), to take care of his Mom because she was ill. His hometown Dujail, is the town that Saddam was recently on trial for killing many men, women and children and also raising the town in the 1980's.
