I kept trying to get into the chat room...and all I got was a bunch of commercials flashing in and out?? I got in fine last week????

Sorry to hear that. In the last month User Plane has added some commericals on some of the rooms.. and they've been bumping out a number of users (over at Will's and other chat rooms too)..

Kaysar may be chatting on Wednesday night and if you have a problem..
PM me (or Lane) and I'll see about sending you an "invite" and see if that works..

Usually that method is 100%

Maybe this will help? Not sure if this is the case or not but it's something that maybe Lane can add to the 'tips' section for User Plane (re: XP users).

If all of the sudden your chat window seems to have disappeared (not talking about if you get booted out) or you can't seem to find it, you can try doing this:

In Windows XP (not sure how to launch Windows Task Manager in other operating systems)

hit CTRL+ALT+DEL
Windows Task Manager window should open
Under Applications tab it should list all the windows/programs active
If the chat window is still active, you should see it listed as http://www.userplane.com - ...
Click on that
Hit Switch To button

That should bring the chat window back up :)
